Starting October 21, interviews will take place for candidates applying for the positions of veteran support specialists and demobilized individuals in Ukraine. This is an important step aimed at providing proper support and integration for veterans into civilian life.

Main objectives of the commissions
The primary goal of the selection commissions is to uncover the human potential of future project participants during interviews. As noted by Aliona Skorzhova, the Director of the Department for Transition from Military Service to Civil Life at the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, the support specialist will be the first person, after family, to engage with veterans upon their return from the front.
The specialist will provide individual support, initial consulting, and comprehensive assistance, which is crucial for the successful integration of veterans into civilian life.
Structure of the selection commissions
The selection commissions are created by the structural subdivisions of state (military) administrations, which are responsible for veteran policy issues. In their work, the commissions will follow methodological recommendations prepared by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and an established evaluation scale.
Current information
As of now, 1,104 individuals have submitted applications for the competitive selection for the positions of veteran support specialists and demobilized individuals. It is worth noting that the IV stage for submitting applications from candidates runs from October 15 to 30.
