The participants also addressed cooperation under the grant agreement signed in Paris in early June, which allocates 200 million euros for the restoration and reconstruction of critical infrastructure.
Priority projects include the development of energy storage systems, the reconstruction and modernization of substations, and the construction of “smart” grids. Ukrainian and French companies have already begun implementing 14 projects in these areas.
Since the start of cooperation, Ukraine has received 37 shipments of humanitarian energy equipment from France, totaling 313 tons.
The French side expressed its readiness to respond promptly to Ukraine’s requests by providing necessary equipment and financial support, which is a crucial step in preparing for winter and recovering Ukraine’s energy system.
