Mandatory Evacuation of Children from Sumy Region: What You Need to Know

Due to the deteriorating security situation in the Sumy region, a mandatory evacuation of children along with their parents has been announced from several populated areas. This decision was made based on the order of the Sumy Regional Military Administration and the Operational Tactical Group “Siversk.” This was reported on the website of the Sumy District Council.

Which Areas Are Affected by the Evacuation?

The evacuation concerns residents of:

  • Bilopillia and Vorozhba urban territorial communities
  • Krasnopillia and Khotyn settlement territorial communities
  • Yunakivka, Myropillia, and Mykolaivka rural territorial communities

How Will the Evacuation Take Place?

A mandatory evacuation of children with their parents, guardians, or other legal representatives from specific populated areas of the Konohtop district has been announced. It is important to note that evacuation from dangerous areas is conducted free of charge.
