Social Portal
One of the key projects is the creation of a social portal that will allow Ukrainians to submit online applications for social services. This will eliminate the need to visit social protection agencies and reduce the time spent in queues. The portal is already operational at https://soc.gov.ua, where users can find information about themselves, submit applications, and track the status of their requests. Beta testing has already taken place in four pilot regions, with plans for expansion across Ukraine.
Project “ePotential”
Another important initiative is the “ePotential” project, which focuses on the rehabilitation of citizens with temporary limitations in daily activities. The project will include an assessment of individuals’ functioning status and the formation of individual rehabilitation plans in collaboration with social services.
New Model of Social Insurance
In addition, the Ministry announced a new model of social insurance that includes the introduction of rehabilitation sick leaves. Employees will receive compensation during their recovery period without the need to gather documents. Doctors will issue medical certificates that will automatically be sent to the system. It is noted that over 25.6 million electronic sick leaves have already been issued.
