Despite the announced forced evacuation, 848 children remain in 14 settlements in Donetsk Oblast. Most minors still live in Konstantinovka (611) and Pokrovsk (135).
This was reported by representatives of the Donetsk Regional State Administration during a briefing on the evacuation.
According to Yulia Ryzhakova, acting head of the regional Service for Children, 10221 children from 798 families have already been evacuated.
Families who agree to evacuate receive financial assistance from international organisations and the opportunity to apply for IDP benefits.
The evacuation is free of charge and includes accommodation. For miners, there is a possibility of employment in their speciality in the Lviv region.
