The eVidnovlennya certificate can be used as a down payment under the eOselya programme

The Government of Ukraine has expanded the possibilities of the eOselya affordable lending programme for citizens whose homes were destroyed as a result of Russian aggression. Now Ukrainians can use funds from the eVidnovlennya certificate to cover the down payment when buying a new home under the programme, the Ministry of Digital Transformation reports.

This means that citizens affected by the war will no longer be forced to look for cheaper housing options, but will be able to get a loan for a new home on favourable terms. The eVidnovlennya certificate can be used to cover the down payment in full or in part.

In order to take advantage of this opportunity, you need to reserve funds under the certificate for 30 days. If the property is not purchased within this period, the money will need to be re-booked manually through the Diia app.

The mortgage application is processed within 10 minutes, and the result is notified directly to the app.

As a reminder, eOselya is a government programme that allows Ukrainians to buy an apartment, private house or townhouse at a preferential rate of 3% or 7% per annum, depending on the borrower’s category. The programme is aimed at simplifying the loan process and eliminating bureaucratic obstacles.
