Happy Monday and Coursera have announced the launch of the second wave of enrollment for the ReSkill UA educational project. Following the first wave, around 10,000 Ukrainians are currently studying on the platform, with over 1,000 having already received certificates. The Ministry of Economy is sharing participant feedback and explaining how to join the program.
What is ReSkill UA?
ReSkill UA is an online qualification enhancement and retraining program for Ukrainians that offers opportunities for further employment. The program started in June this year.
Results of the First Enrollment Wave:
- 17,776 participants registered for the program;
- 14,652 of them gained access to certification programs;
- 8,412 have already begun their studies;
- Over 1,000 have received their first certificates.
The most popular study areas were:
- Project Management — 26%
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) — 22%
- Marketing — 17%
- Entrepreneurship — 10%
- Cybersecurity — 7%
A total of 30,000 scholarships are planned for the year. Currently, training is available in 11 areas, but organizers plan to open additional training tracks based on employer and audience requests. Participants can choose a direction and register on the website.
What Participants Will Receive and How to Participate:
The ReSkill UA project provides participants with:
- Free access to one of the training programs on the Coursera platform;
- A mentoring program from Happy Monday: career consultations, webinars, pitch sessions;
- Support in employment: access to career resources, networking events, direct introductions to potential employers, etc.
To participate in the project, you need a computer or phone with internet access and to fill out a registration form.
