Predictable and consistent budgetary support and energy sector reconstruction are the main priorities of the Multilateral Donor Coordination Platform for Ukraine, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal emphasized during the opening of the tenth meeting of the platform.
According to him, the key focus is on the energy sector. The government has identified 4 main tasks to cope with this challenge:
● availability of a sufficient number of air defense systems to cover Ukrainian cities, energy and economy;
● Rapid reconstruction and repair of damaged stations and equipment;
● decentralization of the energy system;
● financing of energy efficiency measures.
The Head of Government also informed the partners about the Reform Matrix adopted by the Government last week.
“This unique tool will help to systematize all reforms and conditions, check the status of their implementation, prioritize reforms depending on their impact on the economy and recovery,” he said.
