The Women’s Opportunities Fund in Ukraine is announcing the call for applications for the autumn season Travel Grant. Applications are accepted from September 16 to 29.
Who can participate?
- Women’s Public Organizations: Officially registered organizations focused on women’s rights, promoting gender equality, strengthening women’s economic independence, and developing women’s entrepreneurship.
- Non-Governmental Organizations: Organizations independent from government institutions and political parties, capable of administering the grant for their representatives or activists.
- Individual Entrepreneurs (IE): Business owners with officially registered individual entrepreneurship (IE) can also apply for participation in exhibitions, conferences, business training, market expansion, or experience exchange.
Who cannot participate?
- Businesses related to the beauty industry.
- Creative projects such as dance, entertainment, or music events.
- Events related to animals, including zoo conferences and exhibitions.
- Businesses related to the funeral industry.
What expenses can be included in the budget?
- Transportation costs (economy class tickets).
- Accommodation (provided the stay does not exceed 7 days).
- Registration fees for event participation.
- Travel insurance.
How are applications reviewed?
The expert committee reviews each application individually, selects 2 travel grants per month, and approves the maximum grant amount. Winners will be announced on October 14.
