You can test your mine safety skills with a new simulator

The Ukrainian government has introduced a new tool for testing knowledge in mine safety—a simulator available on the Diia.Education portal under the name “Mine Safety.” The launch of this resource was announced by the State Emergency Service.

The simulator is designed to immerse users in realistic situations related to mine danger. Users first watch a video and then answer questions about the content shown.

For example, the first video depicts a family returning to their hometown after deoccupation. On their way, they notice an explosive object near the gate. Users are asked to choose the correct answer to the question, “What should be done in this situation?” and review explanations from an expert.

The simulator features three main sections: “Deoccupied Territories,” “Frontline Cities,” and “All Ukraine.” Each section helps users better understand how to identify dangerous areas and what to do when encountering suspicious objects.

This tool is part of the mine safety awareness campaign “Notice the Changes,” which began in June this year. The interactive simulator is available via a link where anyone can test their knowledge and receive valuable advice.

With this simulator, Ukrainians can improve their safety skills and better prepare for potential dangers they may encounter in everyday life.
