The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), with financial support from the French Embassy in Ukraine, has launched a new initiative to assist families in Chernihiv Oblast. Under this program, 500 families from the Horodnyansk Municipal Community will receive vouchers worth 500 USD (in Ukrainian hryvnias at the current exchange rate) for purchasing split firewood from selected suppliers.
Covered Areas and Participation Conditions
Assistance will be provided to families residing in the villages of Volodymyrivskyi, Drozdovytskyi, Molozhavskyi, and Khotivlianskyi within the Horodnyansk Municipal Community, where there is no centralized gas supply. To participate in the program, families must use solid fuel to heat their homes and not receive similar assistance from other organizations or institutions during the 2024-2025 heating season.
