The publishing house “Litera LTD” has committed to reprinting the Ukrainian language textbooks for the 7th grade that contained an incorrect map of Ukraine. All copies will be recalled from schools, reprinted, and redistributed. The Ministry emphasizes that Crimea is an inseparable part of Ukraine.
To improve the quality of educational books and avoid technical errors, starting this academic year, the Ministry of Education and Science, in collaboration with the Ukrainian Institute for Educational Development (UIED), will conduct textbook trials in schools before printing. As of September 2, 2024, UIED will handle the textbook reviews.
This step is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and quality of educational materials used in Ukrainian schools. The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine continues to work on improving the educational process and providing students with high-quality textbooks.
