Ukraine has received crucial financial support from the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) amounting to 70 million euros to compensate for housing destroyed due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. This funding is part of the “HOME. Compensation for Destroyed Housing” project, according to the Government Portal.
The funds represent the first tranche of two phases expected to be completed by the end of the current year. The HOME project is aimed at financing housing certificates that will allow citizens to receive compensation for homes destroyed during combat and terrorist attacks by the Russian Federation.

The primary beneficiaries of the HOME program will be combat participants, individuals with disabilities, and large families. The project is being implemented as part of the eRecovery service, which covers the entire territory of Ukraine.
It is planned that the CEB will fund compensation for over 2,000 housing certificates as part of this project. This will allow approximately 5,700 Ukrainians to receive financial aid for the restoration of their destroyed homes.
The HOME program is a significant step in Ukraine’s recovery and support for those affected by armed aggression. The Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine is actively working on implementing this initiative, providing support to affected citizens and accelerating the housing restoration process.
