The REDpreneur.UA Program: supporting entrepreneurship in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Red Cross, in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross and supported by the “Neighbour in Need” fund from Austria, has launched a two-year program called REDpreneur.UA. This initiative aims to develop business skills and foster entrepreneurship among vulnerable populations in Ukraine.

REDpreneur.UA will provide financial grants for the implementation of business ideas and startups, ranging from €5,000 to €15,000 per project. The program targets internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, women in challenging life situations, the unemployed, and other vulnerable groups.

The project focuses on supporting individual entrepreneurs and micro- and small enterprises looking to restart their activities or start new businesses, including startups aimed at Ukraine’s recovery and development.

REDpreneur.UA offers a unique learning experience that includes:

• Inspirational sessions to motivate participants to achieve new goals.
• An online academy with access to modern educational materials and courses.
• Workshops for practical application of acquired knowledge.
• Networking opportunities to establish important business connections and find partners.

The program aims to become a business incubation center for social entrepreneurship and humanitarian innovations in Ukraine, providing unique business support services, including training, coaching, mentoring, and access to funding through grant money.

REDpreneur.UA not only supports the development of entrepreneurship among vulnerable populations but also contributes to the overall recovery and development of Ukraine’s economy in the post-conflict recovery phase.
