A new app has been launched in Ukraine for locating missing persons and reuniting families

A new free app called Reunite Ukraine has been developed in Ukraine to assist in locating missing persons, kidnapped children, and reuniting families separated by the war. This app is the result of a collaboration between the American company Find My Parent and the National Police of Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Reintegration.

The app’s main function is to help find missing soldiers and children, as well as to reunite family members who have been internally displaced, left Ukraine, remained in temporarily occupied territories, or were illegally deported to the Russian Federation or Belarus.

How to use the app:

  1. Download the Reunite Ukraine app from the AppStore or Google Play.
  2. Install it on your phone and create a profile. Provide accurate information about yourself, your family, and the persons you are searching for.
  3. The app’s artificial intelligence matches your data with information from other users registered in the system.
  4. If there is a match, the police will verify the information. After confirmation, both users receive notifications and can start communicating through the app.
  5. All user data is securely protected and inaccessible to third parties.
