What has changed?
According to the new rules, funds collected on the United24 platform can now be used not only for purchasing demining equipment but also for:
- Purchasing components for demining equipment.
- Acquiring tools for remote detection of explosive devices.
- Purchasing materials and equipment for certifying demining machines.
Additionally, the Ministry of Economy now has the ability to initiate targeted fundraising through the United24 platform, allowing for the collection of funds for specific needs in this critical area.
Use of Collected Funds
Since the launch of the United24 platform, over 170 million UAH has been raised. These funds have already been directed toward important purchases and projects, including acquiring a heavy-duty demining machine for the State Emergency Service (SES), conducting a tender for the purchase of two tractors for SES, purchasing “Trembita” metal detectors for the State Special Transport Service (SSTS), and procuring 400 protective helmets and aprons for SSTS. Additionally, part of the funds was used for purchasing a heavy demining machine, the DOK-ING MV-10, for SSTS through co-financing.
These steps are part of Ukraine’s broader efforts to improve safety and enhance the effectiveness of demining, which is critical for the recovery of war-affected areas.
