Evacuation from dangerous regions of Ukraine is carried out by rail and road transport, and special transport may be used if necessary. To ensure the safety and comfort of evacuees, a number of social guarantees are provided. This information is reported by the Ministry of Reintegration.
Social guarantees provided:
- Free food and humanitarian aid during evacuation.
- Restoration of lost documents.
- Temporary shelter in hubs for internally displaced persons.
- Qualified psychological and medical assistance.
- Financial aid from international organizations.
- Free accommodation in state and municipal facilities, and, if necessary, in social-medical institutions.
- State financial assistance for living expenses for internally displaced persons (IDPs).
- Assistance with employment.
- Priority enrollment in preschool and educational institutions with free meals.
- Assistance with providing solid fuel for the heating season 2024-2025.
These measures are designed to support internally displaced persons and meet their basic needs during their adaptation in receiving communities.
