The UNDP Ukraine team has presented an analysis of the state of organization and provision of social services in six regions of Ukraine.
About the Report
Each report examines the provision of basic and specialized social services to vulnerable populations in the communities of the respective region, including staffing, material and technical resources, financial support, and the monitoring and evaluation of service quality.
Recommendations from the Analysis Based on the analysis
The authors have prepared a series of recommendations, including:
- Improving management and administration systems in the provision of social services in communities
- Enhancing staffing, material, and technical support for social services
- Increasing the qualifications of social service providers
- Strengthening communication with residents of territorial communities
- Digitizing the process of identifying community needs and delivering social services
