The Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine has launched a major project to create a network of veteran centers across the country. The first centers under the new VETERAN PRO brand have already opened in the Kyiv region, in the cities of Brovary and Boryspil.
The project was developed by the Ministry in collaboration with the veteran community. VETERAN PRO is an inclusive network of multifunctional centers designed to provide comprehensive support for veterans, veteran women, their families, and the families of the fallen.
These veteran spaces will offer a wide range of services, including psychological and legal assistance, physical and sports rehabilitation, and support for veteran entrepreneurship. Specifically:
- Fast access to quality services
- Comprehensive recovery
- Opportunities for interaction with fellow veterans
- Support for adaptation to civilian life
VETERAN PRO centers will also employ specialists to assist veterans of the war and demobilized individuals.
We have previously reported that the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is implementing an innovative project for teaching the subject “Defense of Ukraine.”
