In the Kyiv region, gas stations will receive access to the Defense Forces’ air awareness system. The decision was adopted by the Regional Defense Council for coordination of the Kyiv OVA.
Station staff will be able to receive information about the movement of enemy air targets in real time. This will allow them to respond more quickly to threats and make decisions about station operations during alerts.
The regional authorities explain that these stations will not rely solely on the general air‑alert signal – they will have more information about the specific threat.
The latest enemy attacks show that gas stations and other fuel infrastructure facilities are also under threat. Therefore we must stay one step ahead in the new conditions.
