In Teremky they plan to implement an optimized version of the heating network construction that will allow saving about 160 trees, they reported to the Kyiv City State Administration.
Over the past month the city, together with scientists, industry experts and representatives of the public, processed various options for laying the network.

As a result, a scheme was formed that foresees the removal of only about 10 plantings – only part of the trees will be pruned.
The proposed changes do not contradict current legal, construction, technical and technological norms. The decision also takes into account the requirements for building backup power sources and the tight preparation deadlines for winter.
The Kyiv City State Administration noted that, according to experts, there is no full and realistic alternative to the current project – due to the limited time until the heating season starts.
