The Ukrainian Red Cross will accept applications for the “Support for the Reintegration of Veterans in Ukraine” program until September 20 – veterans and members of their families from Vinnytsia and Mykolaiv regions can receive up to €3,000 to start, restore, or develop their own business.
Within the program participants undergo practical training, work with mentors on a business plan, and receive individual consultations. After completing the training, they present their business plans to a competition committee, which may award grant support of up to €3,000 and further assistance.
Applications can be submitted by veterans who have been discharged from service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as by members of their families – father, mother, spouse, or children. Families of servicemen who have gone missing or are or have been in captivity also have the right to participate.
The “Support for the Reintegration of Veterans in Ukraine” program is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross with the support of the Danish Red Cross. The educational component is provided by the International Institute of Management.
