The Ukrainian Red Cross has announced the launch of a new mini-grant program to support entrepreneurs. As part of the “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities” project, 60 entrepreneurs will have the chance to receive mini-grants of 100,000 UAH each. The grants are intended for business recovery or for implementing a ready business plan to start a new venture.
Eligibility and Regions
The project aims to support internally displaced persons, veterans and their families, people with disabilities, large families, and other vulnerable groups. The program is active in five regions of Ukraine: Cherkasy, Ternopil, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Vinnytsia.
Partnership with NovaPay
The Ukrainian Red Cross has partnered with NovaPay to implement this project. Grants will be distributed through the Nova Poshta network – a total of 3,500 locations across Ukraine. The collaboration with NovaPay simplifies the process of receiving funds by avoiding intermediaries and other payment systems.
Grant Procedure
To receive a grant, you need to:
- Visit a convenient Nova Poshta branch.
- Inform the cashier about the transfer from the Ukrainian Red Cross and provide a special code received from the organization.
- Present identification documents.
- Receive the funds in cash.

Role of the Ukrainian Red Cross
The Ukrainian Red Cross is the largest national organization in the country, comprising over 200 branches, 8,000 volunteers, and 5,000 employees across Ukraine. Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion on February 24, 2022, the organization has provided food and hygiene packages to over 12.7 million Ukrainians.
This initiative represents a significant step toward restoring economic activity and supporting entrepreneurs during challenging times.
We have previously mentioned that a national survey on the current state of education is starting.
