In Ukraine, work has begun on creating a comprehensive security system in schools. The system is expected to include civil protection, technological and fire safety, access control, and the provision of a safe surrounding area. This project is being implemented jointly with the legislative body and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The project aims not only to ensure physical safety within educational institutions but also to establish clear legal mechanisms for security control and management. An important part of this work involves amending the Law of Ukraine “On Complete General Secondary Education.” The new regulations aim to improve the rules for staying on the premises and within educational institutions. Additionally, they are designed to enhance mechanisms for involving the police in preventive measures.
Effective implementation of this initiative requires active participation from all stakeholders, including parents, the community, and legislators. It is crucial that all participants work together to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the measures.
This project is aimed at enhancing the level of safety in educational institutions and ensuring a comfortable and secure learning environment for all participants in the educational process.
We have previously reported on how evacuees can obtain permission to reside in temporary accommodation with their pets.
