Oleksandr Novikov is the new head of the Help representation in Ukraine

The international organization Help has announced the appointment of Oleksandr Novikov as the head of its representation in Ukraine. Oleksandr joined the Help team at the beginning of 2023, initially taking the role of a project management specialist. His dedication and professionalism quickly became evident, and he soon led projects, including the opening of new offices in Uzhhorod and Kharkiv. Oleksandr also managed the implementation of a project funded by the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (UHF).

Oleksandr Novikov has significant experience in academic and pedagogical activities, holding a PhD in Law and serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of State Building at the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. Following the full-scale invasion, he lost his apartment in Kharkiv and moved to Poltava, where he began working in the humanitarian sector.

“I now have experience and a well-established strong team, so my main focus is to expand our activities in collaboration with local civil society organizations and to strengthen the development of civil society,” Oleksandr comments on his new appointment.
