In Vyshhorod, a new veteran space ‘Veteran PRO’ was opened – the 19th such center in Kyiv region.
There, veterans and servicemen, members of their families, as well as families of fallen Defenders, will be able to receive comprehensive support and necessary services.
The opening was attended by Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine Ruslan Prikhodko, Deputy Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Ivan Dobrovolsky, veterans, and representatives of the communities of Kyiv region.
The space provides psychological, legal, and social assistance, promotes employment, accompanies during rehabilitation, and helps with other important issues. Permanent reception of visitors will be carried out by specialists in veteran support.
In addition to consultations, ‘Veteran PRO’ will host health improvement events, support group meetings, workshops, and masterclasses. The team works on the principle of ‘equal to equal’, helping Defenders adapt to civilian life, find support, and feel part of the community.
Prikhodko and Dobrovolsky also handed over five inclusive vehicles for veteran spaces in the communities of Kyiv region. The transport was purchased at the expense of the regional budget. The vehicles will work as social taxis, providing veterans with barrier-free access to rehabilitation, medical and social services, consultations, and other events.
The new specialized vehicles were received by the communities of Vyshhorod, Polissya, Obukhiv, Kalynivka, and Volodarske.
