The Ministry of Education and Science changed the deadlines for the postgraduate admission campaign. The updated schedule provides for the extension of certain stages of the competitive selection.
Applications for participation in the competitive selection and registration for the entrance exam in the specialty were to be completed by August 25. Now this stage will last until September 7.
Entrance exams in the specialty and other assessments provided by educational institutions will be held from September 8 to 21 — two weeks longer compared to the previous schedule.
The provision of recommendations for enrollment will begin on September 22 and will last until September 26. During this period, the lists of recommended candidates for the budget will be updated if individual applicants do not meet the enrollment requirements.
Enrollment of applicants who received recommendations and met the relevant requirements will last until September 28 — a month and a half later than the deadline provided for in the current Admission Procedure.
Higher education institutions can also conduct an additional enrollment for postgraduate studies on a contract basis. Such enrollment can begin no earlier than September 29, and the specific deadlines are determined independently by the institutions in their admission rules. Enrollment based on the results of the additional enrollment must take place no later than 15 days after the completion of application registration, but no later than October 15.
