The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmitry Lubinets, found violations of the conditions for keeping children in the ‘Pushcha-Vodytsia’ camp.
Parents’ outrage I saw in social networks and understood that intervention was needed here. That’s why yesterday, from 9 am, the monitoring group worked on the territory of the camp.

In the living rooms – dirt, broken furniture, mold, and in the staff premises – bottles of alcohol.
In the dining area, rotten fruits were found, and daily samples are not available for all dishes. Ants were found throughout the camp – from living rooms to food facilities.
The shelters in the camp are not equipped properly: sleeping places are located on pallets, bed linen is dirty, and there is not enough drinking water. At the same time, coffee machines are installed on the territory, which are accessible even to young children.
Earlier, the monitoring group had already visited the ‘Artek’ camp in Zakarpattia. Under publications about the conditions in the camps, messages from parents appeared about other children’s recreation centers.
Under the post about ‘Artek’, one of the mothers wrote that she took her child out of the camp, and the child returned very thin. Under this comment, messages from other parents began to appear – already about other children’s camps. And again – similar stories.

Following the results of the monitoring, Lubinets sent official letters to the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine and demands a specific reaction.
