In Kyiv, a protest march for reforms in defense is being organized, reported veteran Dmytro Kozhyatynsky.
The march will start on July 31 at 19:00 near the Taras Shevchenko monument in Shevchenko Park and end on Ivan Franko Square.
According to Kozhyatynsky, the reason for the action is the lack of response from the authorities to the question posed by protesters across the country.
He also proposed giving Mykhailo Fedorov a year to implement reforms, and only then make decisions based on the results. Kozhyatynsky called for similar marches to be held in other cities where the security situation allows.
The protests have been ongoing since July 16 – since Fedorov was removed from the post of Minister of Defense. The participants of the actions demand the reappointment of Fedorov as the head of the Ministry of Defense, the preservation of military innovations, and also demanded the dismissal of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi.
Syrskyi was dismissed on July 21, and Mykhailo Drapaty was appointed as the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
