The Ministry of Health of Ukraine reminds that if you experience symptoms of influenza, ARVI, or COVID-19, it is important to stay at home to protect yourself and others. Especially now, when it is possible to obtain a medical certificate for temporary disability (MCTD) with symptoms of influenza, ARVI, or COVID-19 remotely.
Algorithm for obtaining a sick leave remotely:
- Contact a doctor via telephone, internet telephony, or telemedicine connection.
- Based on the provided information, the doctor will issue a medical certificate for temporary disability.
- You will receive an SMS with the MCTD number from the electronic health system.
- The MCTD is automatically transmitted to the Electronic Register of Sick Leaves maintained by the Pension Fund.
- Wait for an SMS from the Pension Fund with the sick leave number. This confirms successful registration.
- Inform your employer about your illness, providing the sick leave number, which they can view on the Pension Fund’s electronic services web portal.
Extensions of the MCTD for more than five days require a personal visit to the doctor. Follow your doctor’s recommendations for your own health.
