She Drives Opens New Enrollment for Free Training of Women

The She Drives project announced the start of a new enrollment for free training for women who want to master professions in the transportation sector. Applications are accepted from July 27 to August 31, 2026.

The program is aimed at women who want to change their profession and build a career in the transportation industry. Participants receive a new specialty, take a free course, and have the prospect of further employment. The training covers several regions of Ukraine, and the list of available cities and categories is published by the organizers on their information resources.

She Drives accompanies women at every stage – from mastering a new profession to support during training and the first steps in work. You can fill out a questionnaire on the project’s official website she-drives.com.ua.

The initiative is being implemented as part of the UN Women Ukraine Strategic Note (2025-2029). Financial support is provided by the governments of Austria, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Finland, France, and Sweden. The Ministry of Restoration, Infrastructure, and Transport of Ukraine and the NGO “Institutional Development Foundation” are partners.

The transportation sector has long been a male-dominated field, so programs like She Drives expand women’s access to new professions and promote gender equality in the labor market.
