Russia struck a UNICEF warehouse in Ukraine, destroying humanitarian aid for children and families affected by the war, reported the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets.
According to him, 106,000 units of humanitarian cargo worth nearly $3.9 million were destroyed – generators, drinking water, hygiene kits, and other critically important supplies.
Russia is also continuing to kill children and destroy humanitarian infrastructure. Last week alone, according to UNICEF, 2 children were killed, and at least 50 were injured.

Attacks on humanitarian objects and personnel of humanitarian missions are a violation of international humanitarian law, and Russia must be held accountable for each such case, emphasized the Ombudsman.
