The ‘White Angel’ evacuation teams have rescued 38,446 people since the start of the full-scale war, including 10,280 children.
As well as evacuating people, law enforcement officers are providing frontline communities with essential supplies. They have delivered 756.9 tonnes of food, 1.2 tonnes of medicines and 80,800 litres of drinking water to residents.
Residents of frontline areas also received 462.2 tonnes of other essential supplies.
One of the teams’ most difficult tasks is the evacuation of the deceased. Since the ‘White Angel’ began its work, 561 bodies have been recovered – this allows families to bid a dignified farewell to their loved ones.
