In Kyiv, near the Office of the President, hundreds of people have gathered in support of Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov, reported correspondents of “Ukrainian Truth” from the scene.
The action is taking place on Ivan Franko Square. Participants are holding cardboard signs with inscriptions “Fedorov – Minister of Defense”, “Why?”, “Don’t touch what works”, “Hands off Fedorov”, “Return Fedorov” and “Power is still with the people”.
Those present are chanting “Shame” and “Fedorov – Minister of Defense”.
The action is taking place against the backdrop of the update of the government’s composition after the resignation of Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. Fedorov has been heading the Ministry of Defense since January 2026, and the possible successor to this post is called the Minister of Internal Affairs, Igor Klymenko.
