The Ukrainian Red Cross will provide 20 participants of the online service program ‘Restart’ with micro-grants totaling UAH 2.4 million to launch and develop their own business.
43 applications were submitted by participants from 10 regions of Ukraine.
Among the winners are veterans and their relatives, as well as entrepreneurs who are rebuilding their businesses after forced relocation and other consequences of the war.
Some of the supported initiatives have a social component. The winners plan to produce developmental materials for children with special educational needs and toys using the Montessori method, as well as open a family bakery with Crimean Tatar traditions.
The project is being implemented with the financial support of the Spanish Red Cross.
