The Ukrainian Red Cross provided rehabilitation assistance to over 1,500 Ukrainians in the first half of 2026.

Mobile rehabilitation teams conducted 4,971 rehabilitation sessions and provided 2,079 assistive rehabilitation devices to recipients.

Experts also organized 661 training sessions and 1,425 informational sessions on evidence-based rehabilitation for professionals and communities.

The rehabilitation department of the Ukrainian Red Cross operates in 13 regions of Ukraine, covering remote communities. The teams work directly in the communities, helping veterans and civilians restore their functional abilities and providing them with assistive rehabilitation devices when needed.

The “Physical Rehabilitation and Social Adaptation” program aims to make rehabilitation services more accessible to people in hard-to-reach regions.
