In June 2025, Ukraine received new batches of medical humanitarian aid worth over UAH 34.2 million. The cargo was provided by partners from Norway, Germany, Poland, France, Finland, Hungary, and the United States. The aid is aimed at supporting the healthcare system and providing medical institutions with medicines, diagnostic materials, medical products, and equipment.

A significant portion of the aid consists of medications for patient treatment. The charitable organization Action medeor provided medications for the treatment of infectious diseases. The Polish pharmaceutical company POLPHARMA S.A. provided painkillers and anti-inflammatory medications. The Ukrainian company SM-FARM LLC provided medications for emergency care and inpatient treatment.

A separate area of aid is medical products and diagnostic tools. The organization RestoringVision provided Ukraine with 300,000 glasses for vision correction, which will allow for the needs of patients with vision impairments in different regions to be met. The NGO “Public Health Mission” provided kits and control materials for early HIV detection, which are used in testing and diagnostic programs.

Some of the cargo was provided by the governments of partner countries. Norway provided medications for the prevention and treatment of thromboembolic complications, a condition that often occurs in patients after injuries and prolonged treatment. Finland provided medical equipment for healthcare institutions.

Ukrainian medics also received a specialized emergency medical vehicle of type B. Such transport is intended for the transportation of patients, provision of basic medical care, and monitoring of a person’s condition on the road. The vehicle was purchased by the University Hospital of Toulouse (CHU DE TOULOUSE) with financial support from the Regional Council of Occitania, and the transfer was carried out with the assistance of the French Agency for International Technical Cooperation Expertise France.

Another batch of aid is the antiseptic Betadine, which is used for skin and wound treatment. The medication was provided by the Hungarian pharmaceutical company “Egis” through the Ukrainian-Estonian company “Optima-Pharm” LTD with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Hungary.
