According to UN Women Ukraine, since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, the gender pay gap in Ukraine has been 18.6%. Although this figure is lower than the global average, it still exceeds the levels in many European Union countries.
The organization has an ambitious goal to reduce this gap. One effective way to achieve this is by implementing the WEPs (Women’s Empowerment Principles), which aim to address the situation and promote equality in the workplace.
To spread awareness, the organization invites you to a three-day training on WEPs implementation, which will take place in Lviv from September 17-19 and in Kyiv from November 26-28.
During the three days of training, you will gain a thorough understanding of the WEPs principles, learn about their implementation in the workplace, and develop approaches and strategies for ensuring gender equality within your teams.
Who can participate in the training:
- Business owners
- Representatives of public and private companies (management level)
- Representatives of civil society organizations
- Representatives of business associations
In 2025, there are also plans to offer training in an online format, allowing even more participants to join this important initiative.
Participation conditions:
- The training is free of charge. The organizers cover accommodation and meals, while transportation to the venues is the responsibility of the participants.
