The Cabinet of Ministers determined the location for the Ukrainian National Pantheon – it will be built on the territory of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Historical and Cultural Reserve in Kyiv.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted a law on the creation of the Ukrainian National Pantheon on July 1. It provides for the creation of a memorial complex for the burial and reburial of fighters for Ukraine’s independence and other prominent figures in Ukrainian history.
