In the Lviv region, 10 children aged between 4 and 14 who had been holidaying at Lake Zadorozhne in the Stryi district were hospitalised – they have been provisionally diagnosed with an acute intestinal infection of unspecified origin. This was reported by the Department of Civil Protection of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
The children were taken to the Lviv Regional Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital.
According to the department, the patients exhibited symptoms including nausea, vomiting, a high temperature and loose stools.
Doctors have assessed the condition of all the hospitalised children as moderate.
