In the village of Kvasyliv in the Rivne region, a train collided with a local bus at a level crossing – four people were killed, according to the Rivne regional police.
The road traffic accident occurred at around 13:55. The injured have been taken to hospital and are receiving the necessary medical care.

Ukrzaliznytsia has stated that the passengers on the minibus are believed to have been killed. The collision took place directly at the level crossing.
Judging by the photos released, the impact was to the rear of the minibus – the vehicle is damaged and the glass has been smashed out of all the windows.
Traffic is temporarily restricted at the section of track where the accident occurred. Police officers, emergency services and railway staff are working at the scene.
