The Ukrainian Red Cross completed the program “Support for the expansion of women’s economic rights in Ukraine”, which helped women affected by the war to start, restore or develop their own business.
Within the framework of the REDpreneur Women initiative, 2,051 applications were received. 50 participants underwent training, and 42 women received grants of 7,000 euros each. The total amount of grant support exceeded UAH 15 million.
In parallel, within the framework of the RED HUB business incubator, 27 online events were held, bringing together nearly 3,700 participants and becoming a platform for the development of entrepreneurial skills and self-employment.
The program was implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross, with the support of NACHBAR IN NOT and the Austrian Development Agency.
