Ukrainian Red Cross implements the “Emotional Resilience Development” program, which aims to improve the psychosocial well-being of teenagers aged 10-14.
The program’s goal is to reduce the level of stress and develop in children confidence, socialization skills, safe decision-making, and non-violent problem-solving. The classes help participants strengthen their internal resources and form constructive ways to respond to life’s challenges.
Currently, the initiative is being implemented in 9 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv. Since the beginning of the year, almost 100 events have been held, with about 1,000 children participating.
One such event recently took place in Ivano-Frankivsk – at the “Orion” children’s and youth club. Experts conducted classes for participants on emotional resilience development, self-regulation, and constructive interaction with peers.
