As a result of the Russian airstrike during the evacuation of civilians in Kharkiv region, a policeman died, and another policewoman was seriously injured, reported the National Police of Ukraine.
On June 28, Russian troops launched an air strike with four guided aerial bombs on the outskirts of the village of Kyrylivka, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region.
Employees of the police department No. 1 of the Chuhuiv district police department in Kharkiv region came under fire. They were in a service car and were evacuating local residents.
Police officer Roman Komarov, 25, died on the spot – the injuries he sustained were incompatible with life.
The inspector of the juvenile prevention sector also suffered serious injuries. The policewoman was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
