From the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, 15 children and teenagers were evacuated. Among the evacuees are 18-year-old Mykyta, 17-year-old Ivan, and 13-year-old Daria.
Mykyta was hiding to avoid forced mobilization in Russia. He did not attend a Russian school and continued his studies online.
Ivan was also forced to register for military service. His brother was kidnapped and held captive by Russians for half a year. Daria was hiding at home to avoid attending a Russian school.
They are now undergoing reintegration at the “Hope and Recovery” centers, where they receive psychological support, help with documents, safe shelter, and the care needed for a new beginning.
