Ukrainian art historians can intern in Paris museums and archives

The French Embassy in Ukraine has launched a scholarship program for Ukrainian researchers of art history.

Scholars will spend from 10 days to 3 months in Paris, where they will work with archives, museum collections, and scientific resources of the Louvre School, the Pompidou Center, and the National Institute of Art History.

The program is designed for those who study artistic connections between Ukraine and France and re-think the history of art and Ukraine’s place in it.

Specialists in art history, archeology, museology, and provenance research can participate. Graduate students and scientists working in universities can apply.

Applications are accepted until June 28, 2026.

The program is implemented jointly by the Khanenko Museum and the Department of Art History of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
