The government extended the operation of Resilience Centers in territorial communities until November 2027 – millions of Ukrainians will continue to receive free psychosocial support.
The relevant resolution was adopted on June 17. The document extends the experimental project that has been working in communities.
The project aims to reduce the level of stress and anxiety among citizens, teach people to overcome the consequences of war, and support mental health of loved ones.
Extending this project is an investment in people, in the country’s ability to recover. We need to make sure that every community has a space where people can receive help to restore their inner resources and cope with difficult life circumstances.

The project also provides for regular professional training and supervision for center staff, which will allow maintaining high standards of service provision in communities.
Resilience Centers are accessible spaces where community residents can receive free consultations with a psychologist, support from social work specialists, attend support groups, and learn self-help techniques for stress.
The development of the center network is an initiative of the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity. The project is being implemented as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program “How are you?”.
