The public organization “Alternative Education” is launching the Ukrainian-German project “Creative Remembrance”, which will bring together young people from Ukraine and Germany to research memory culture and intercultural dialogue.

The program consists of four online meetings, an offline barcamp in Düsseldorf, and a personal micro-project for participants. Mentor support is also provided during the training.

Participants will receive a grant of 600 euros. For participants from Ukraine, travel and accommodation expenses are also covered.

The online part will last from July 7 to September 7. The offline meeting in Düsseldorf is scheduled for September 27 – October 1.

Young people aged 18 to 28 with knowledge of English can participate.

For participants from Ukraine, a biometric passport valid until December 2026 and the right to travel abroad are required, and for participants from Germany, the project is designed for residents of Düsseldorf and its surroundings.

Applications are accepted until June 21, 2026. The project is implemented with the support of the EVZ Foundation.
