Enterprises that have suffered losses as a result of Russian shelling can use state support programs to restore activities and preserve jobs, reported in KCSA.
For manufacturing enterprises, the government grant of the “Made in Ukraine” program and financial instruments of the “Support Point” program are available, which provide compensation for employers’ expenses during downtime.
Under the “Made in Ukraine” program, manufacturing enterprises can receive up to UAH 16 million for the restoration of damaged facilities, the launch of new production lines, and the creation of jobs. One of the conditions is the creation of at least 5 jobs.
The grant funds are returned by the enterprise to the state within three years through paid taxes and fees.
The “Support Point” program provides compensation for part of the salary and social security contributions for employees during downtime or suspension of labor contracts.
The maximum monthly payment is UAH 17.3 thousand per employee, and assistance is provided for a period of up to three months with the possibility of extension up to six.
To receive support, the employer needs to contact the employment center and submit an application with a package of documents within 90 calendar days from the date of announcement of downtime or suspension of labor contracts.
Among the required documents are orders for the enterprise, information about salary payments, official confirmation of property damage, and a plan for restoring activities.
Consultations on support tools can be obtained at employment centers and “Made in Ukraine” offices.
