A new service has been launched in the Diia application for veterans, veteran women, and their families, which allows them to receive several government services with one application. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
With one electronic application, you can apply for one-time financial assistance from the Ministry of Veterans, social services, the status of a person with a disability due to war, or the status of a family member of a fallen Defender or Defender of Ukraine.
Previously, a separate application was submitted for each service. For example, the status of a person with a disability was first applied for, and after receiving a decision, a separate application was submitted for financial assistance.
Now, it is not necessary to visit various institutions in person: all services can be applied for within one application via the link on the Diia portal.
Applications are processed within 5-30 calendar days, depending on the services chosen. The result of the application is received online through the Diia portal.
Most of the data is automatically pulled from state registers. In some cases, the applicant may be asked to provide additional documents.
